Xiaomi 12S Series revealed with Gen1 plus chip & Innovative design

Xiaomi has already launched its flagship Xiaomi 12 Series in Chinese and Global Markets. While India launch is still on a waitlist till 27 April. Now, we got a few leaks about a company’s new Flagship series in the market with improved processor & Other specs.

There could be the Xiaomi 12S series giving out two models: Xiaomi 12S and the Xiaomi 12S Pro. Earlier, we got the leak about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra variant. But it looks like the company has changed its mindset and revealed the 12S series.

Known Specs

Talking about the series, the native Xiaomi 12S will get powered by the Snapdragon Gen1 chipset. The phone looks to be categorised between the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro. While the top Xiaomi 12S Pro model will be powered by the Snapdragon SM8475- AG chipset. It is the Snapdragon Gen 1+ chip although.

The Gen 1 plus model will get a slight improvement in Core Frequency and uses the architecture. This Processor then hosts the Antutu V9 scores up to a 1.1Million too. This will also use the Same Cortex X2 cores with three Cortex A710 cores and 4 Cortex A510 cores.

These upcoming series can get a slightly improved battery with a 120W fast charging support. Meanwhile, you will get the In-display fingerprint scanner & Face Unlock for security. There will be options for Wireless Charging and NFC.

Xiaomi 12S series: Model No

Although, we have also spotted the model no & name of the phones in this series. 2206122SC, which is the Xiaomi 12S Pro Model Number the 12S model no is 2206123SC. Moreover, we get that the codename is likewise ‘unicorn’ which is the 12S Pro code name. So on, the Xiaomi 12S gets the code name ‘diting’.

Expected launch date

Although, the Xiaomi 12S series is still in its early stage. It can be launched later in May or June month in China. While the Indian launch could be expected in August.
