Xiaomi is working on a new foldable smartphone named MIX Fold 2. Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is going to be the successor of the MIX Fold smartphone exclusively launched in China. So, the leaks revealed a lot of key specifications of the foldable smartphone.
There is also some new information about the Xiaomi MIX Flip. So, lets look into the details that we got about both these smartphones.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2
The patent from Xiaomi hints that the foldable smartphone may feature Stylus support. According to the leaks, MIX Fold 2 features an 8″ AMOLED display. The device will feature a 2.5K resolution display with 120 Hz refresh rate. The display size makes the device like a mini-tablet and the stylus support can give competition to other brands.
The phone will feature Qualcomm SM8450 Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (4 nm) SoC. This SoC comes with octa core with a clockrate of 1800 – 2995 MHz and Adreno 730 GPU.
Moreover, MIX Fold 2 will feature a Triple camera setup. The phone will come with 108 MP main camera with 8 MP and 13 MP cameras. The device will also feature a 20 MP front camera.
MIX Fold 2 will also feature a 5020 mAh battery.
Xiaomi MIX Flip
According to rumours, Xiaomi is working on a flip smartphone. There was patent filed by Xiaomi at WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) last year which showed a flip smartphone with a folding mechanism similar to Samsung Galaxy Flip 3.
According to the patent, there is a cutout in the front for dual cameras. The dual camera setup is also present at the back with LED flash. Moreover, there is a square cutout beside the the camera module at the back which is probably a secondary display to access camera, notifications and time.
