The Indian company Micromax has launched the Latest IN note 2 in India. Markets at ₹12,490. This device is the successor to In Note 1 launch last year by Micromax. So, we are comparing this device from the round blockbuster smartphone from Redmi. Redmi 10 Prime was however priced at ₹ 11,999 on Amazon. while currently, you will get this device at ₹12.5k price. So, let’s compare which one offers better specs at the same price.

Display& Build

The Redmi 10 Prime has introduced itself in a glossy finish paired with a plastic back & edges. Eventually, you will feel the device around 192g thick with 9.2mm thick. On the other side, Micromax IN note 2 comprises a glass finish back similar to the S- series of Samsung. Moreover, the IN note 2 weighs around 205g with an 8.3mm ticker.

Talking for the display, the IN note 2 comprises a 6.43inch FHD+ AMOLED display. While the Redmi has given a 6.5inch FHD+ IPS display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Both of the devices has has an up to 180Hz touch sample rate with a centre punch hole.

Additionally, the Redmi 10 Prime has also given out an IR blaster too. Moreover, both devices comprise a dedicated card slot & 3.5mm jack with dual mics too.

Processor & Battery

In terms of processors, Micromax has done a great job. It offers an Helio G95 chipset with Cortex-A76 cores at 2.05GHz. while the Redmi features the latest Helio G88 chipset with Cortex-A75 cores 2.05GHz. both chips are is based on 12nm. On paper, the Helio G95 seems to be powerful and additionally, it has UFS2.1 storage support. While the Redmi 10 Prime goes behind with an emmc5.1 Storage.

For the battery, IN Note 2 uses a 5000MAh battery with 30W charging. On the other hand, Redmi 10 Prime has offered a 6000Mah battery with 18W charging. So, it depends on you to choose more battery or faster charging.

Both of the devices run on Android 11. When the Redmi will offer better software updates to device bit Micromax doesn’t do that great job.

Both devices are available in two or three colour options. The Redmi 10 Prime has Black, Blue and White colour option. While the IN note2 is available in the Black & Oak colour option.

Similarly, both device is priced at ₹12,490 for the 4GB/64GB variant. While the Xiaomi also offers a 6GB/128GB variant at ₹14,499 under the hood.

On paper, the Micromax IN Note 2 offers better specs at a similar price. While you should go with this device, you should take care of Updates & Camera/ Audio.
