Realme 9i vs IN Note 2
As you guys know already, the Chinese smartphone company Realme has recently launched Realme 9i for budget Indian markets. This device is priced at ₹13,999 on Flipkart. At the moment, we could get another choice at moment: IN Note 2 from an Indian Smartphone company Micromax. This phone has launched yesterday at a budget segment. So, let’s compare both these devices and give you a better choice.
Display & Build
Saying apparently, the Realme 9i offers a plastic back similar to GT 2 Pro & frame. it weighs around 190G with 8.4mm thickness. At the moment, the IN note 2 comprises a Glass finish back subsequently paired with a plastic Bezel. This device also weighs up to 205G with 8.3mm thickness.
The Realme has offered a slightly bigger 6.6inch 90Hz IPS display. While the Micromax has provided a 6.43inch 60Hz AMOLED panel. Moreover, these devices have FHD+ resolution with a punch hole for the camera. This panel is further paired with a 180HZ touch sample rate.
So, we have chosen IN Note 2 as a priority for offering punchier & sharper colours.
Processor & Battery
Both devices have a 5000MAh battery. Moreover, the devices similar charging too: 30W in IN Note 2 & 33W in Realme 9i. There are type-C ports in both phones. Similarly, these phone comprises 5, Bluetooth V5, GPS & side fingerprint with a dedicated card slot.
Talking for the processor, the Realme9i offers the latest Snapdragon 680 4G chipset with 6nm architecture. It has 2.4GHz Cortex-A73 cores performance cores. On the other hand, Micromax IN Note 2 sports a Helio G95 at 12nm architecture. However, this processor is very powerful compared to SD 680 chipset with Cortex-A76 cores. You will get LPDDR4X RAM & UFS 2.1 storage in this device.
So, we have chosen IN Note 2 for better performance while Realme 9i for battery savings. while we have concluded a tie for the battery section.
Camera & Audio
The Realme 9i offers a 50MP triple camera setup at the rear side. There is a 2MP + 2MP depth/macro sensor on the back. On the other side, the Micromax offers a 48MP quad-camera setup. Other sensors included are 5MP wide & 2MP+2MP camera. At the front, you will get a 16MP camera on both devices.
However, Micromax has provided only a single speaker to its device. While Realme offers stereo speakers on their device. So we consider IN note 2 for the camera & Realme 9i for Audio.
Realme 9i vs IN Note 2: Conclusion
Eventually, these devices are available in many colours. Realme 9i could be avail in Black & Blue colour options. While the Micromax phone has presented in Black & Oak colour variants.
However, the Micromax is available in only 4GB/64GB variant priced at ₹12,490. But Realme has offered two variants: 4GB/64GB at ₹13,999 and a 6GB/128GB variant at ₹15,999.
Regarding us, Micromax has offered better specs at a lower cost. While the Realme 9i seems to be overpriced at the moment. So if you gonna buy a 4GB RAM phone, you should go with Micromax IN Note 2. On the other hand, if you are a diehard fan of Realme & Its UI. Then you can go with Realme 9i too.
