IQoo Z6 vs Realme 9

Realme, a week earlier launched its Realme 9 Series in Global markets. The series contains the base model Realme 9 5G at a 15K price segment. Although with this, today IQoo has launched its iQoo Z6 5G in Indian markets with 16K price segment. So, let’s compare these two phones with their Specs.

Design & Build

Realme 9 5G offers a plastic panel with a square camera module at the back. You will get 8.5mm thickness & 183G weight from the device. Moreover, you have a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera with a 91% screen body ratio.
IQoo Z6 5G, on the other hand, uses a V-shaped notch for selfies. It weighs around 185G & has an 8.3mm thickness. Moreover, you will get around 90.25% screen body ratio & have a Matrix camera cutout.

So, we have chosen iQoo Z6 to win over with a slight margin.

Display

Although, iQoo offers a 6.58inch display panel with Full HD+ resolution. Eventually, you will get a 120Hz refresh rate & a 240Hz touch sample rate with the device.
Realme on the other side offers a 6.5inch Full HD+ panel. While there is only a 90Hz high refresh rate & 180Hz touch sample rate.

So, we choose iQoo Z6 5G to be better in the display segment.

Battery & Charging

In this section, both phones provide exact similar specs. There is a 5000 Mah battery with an 18W fast charging speed.

Camera

In this section too, both phones seem to have a similar triple-camera setup. You will get a 48MP primary lens in Realme 9 5G & 50MP sensor in iQoo Z6 5G. Eventually, the other sensors are 2MP depth & 2MP macro in both devices. While the iQoo Z6 has only 1080p 30FPS video recording in Z6 5G. While Realme 9 offers 1080P at 240FPS.

On the front, you will get a 16MP sensor on both phones. So, we considered Realme 9 5G in this section for better sensor quality and high video recording capability.

Processor

IQoo Z6 5G uses Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. Eventually, it is a 6 nm-based processor with UFS2.2 storage & LPDDR4X RAM with 2 5G bands. It also has liquid cooling technology for better thermal efficiency.
Realme 9 5G uses Mediatek 810 5G chipset based on 6nm architecture.it also has UFS 2.2 storage & LPDDR4X RAM with 5 5G bands support.

So, we considered iQoo Z6 5G to be better in the segment and provide better performance & better gen cores.

UI & Others

Realme 9 5G is currently running Android 11 UI while Z6 5G has the latest Android 12 OS. Moreover, both have Face Unlock & Side-mounted Fingerprint scanner for section purposes.

Eventually, you will get a dedicated card slot only in 9 5G while iQoo does provide a hybrid slot.
