Android 13– Key Features
Android 12 is already available to most of the devices which are launched in 2021. The company Google now started teasing its upcoming Android 13 which has the codename ‘Tiramisu‘. Google has explained many features of their forthcoming Android 13 in Google I/O 2022.
Android 13 will make its first debut in Pixel Series then it will go beyond phones with stock ROM and finally reach the Heavy Custom ROMs. It is currently available in the Beta stage which will be finally rollout in next coming months. Here, we are explaining some of the highlighting features offered by Android 13.
· Able to send Personal Information in an Organized Way
With Android 13, you can be able to permit a particular image or only one. Instead of giving full control over files & media, you will find two categories of permission: Photo & Video or Music & audio. You will also have full control over the personal information you want to share.
· Auto Delete option for Clipboard
Using this version of Android, Users will have many recommendations & options regarding their privacy. Taking a step further, Google will also send you alerts for deleting your Clipboard history within a short period which will block apps to see your copied information.
· More precise Security over Privacy
Later this year, Google is planning to feature a unified page in settings bringing up all the permission requests, sensor usage & more with a clear colour-coded indicator about your safety.
· More customisations & Themes
Since Google has adapted the Material You theme with Android 12 which changes the theme with the current wallpaper. Now, the company is planning to take it a step further by giving options for pre-made colours. Once you select these colours, all apps will adopt them.
Another thing is Material You Icons are only available for Google apps only for now. This version of Android will also provide the option for many third-party app icons too.
· App Language settings
Earlier, we can only change an app Language if the particular language setting is available in in-app settings. But With Android 13, you will have the option to change the language of the app in app info too.
· Notification Requests
We are already aware that any third-party app requires particular permission to access things like Files, Cameras, Locations & other items. Apart from this, later versions of Android will also provide you option if an app wants to send a notification. It is a similar feature that we have seen on iOS.
· Better Bluetooth Connectivity
Google is also going to implement Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) Audio which is a very interesting feature for good battery savings. It will be the successor of the classic version of Bluetooth we have seen in current Androids. It will allow users to get high-Quality Audio without sacrificing the battery.
· Redesigned Media Controls
Android 13 is also teasing a new media control which features a zig-zag line for the musing or audio you are listening to. It has slightly changed album artwork with minor enhancement.
Since Android 13 is still in the Beta version, the company can also introduce new features till the Version launch. Stay tuned for that. In the meantime, you can visit our YouTube channel for exclusive tech.
