Apple iPhone 14 will come without any SIM card slot know how eSIM work BDD

Apple’s iPhone 15 series will not have any physical SIM card support. The iPhone 15 series will launch in 2023. Rumor has it that the iPhone 15 will be the first phone without a SIM card slot. However, according to the latest information, Apple iPhone 14 series will not have a SIM card slot. Apple will use e-sim on the iPhone instead of the SIM card slot in its new iPhone 14 series phones.

In India, three telecom companies, Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, and Jio, offer e-sim services. Apple is working hard to make its next series waterproof. This is why e-sim is being offered in iPhone 14 series. So, e-sim is a good option for future users.

Reliance Jio, Vodafone-Idea, and Airtel are offering e-sim services in India. Telecom companies activate e-sim over the air. e-sim is a virtual sim installed on a mobile phone. The e-sim works just like a physical SIM card. If you apply for an e-SIM, you do not need to insert any other SIM card into your phone.

Apple has already launched a smartphone with the e-sim feature. The company first introduced the e-sim feature for the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. In addition to the physical SIM card slot, the company has also introduced the e-SIM option in the recently launched iPhone 13 series. Users can use two SIM cards in this phone, one physical and the other e-sim card. Although there is talk that the new iPhone 14 series will only have the option of e-sim.

What does this mean for you?

You may have recently read or heard about Apple removing the SIM card slot from their new iPhones. Does that mean your phone is about to become obsolete? Not exactly, as for many users, it won’t change anything. All you have to do is add an e-SIM card. In other words, instead of using a physical SIM card for each carrier plan, you can buy an e-SIM card that acts like a standard physical one in terms of size and function but holds several different carrier plans instead of just one. The service is similar to that offered by Google Fi – all you need is an e-SIM, which will let you switch plans easily.

Apple hasn’t officially confirmed that it’s ditching its SIM card reader in favor of e-SIM technology, but all signs point to yes. And customers are getting angry about it. Many (including me) dislike Apple for removing what was one of its coolest tech features: being able to change carrier networks by swapping a small card. It was so cool, Apple patents protecting that feature were granted twice. But, e-SIM technology is interesting in that it lets you switch carriers without your phone, meaning you can switch instantly while at home or work when using WiFi—or even mid-call. Rather than have several phone numbers attached to your number and multiple devices, e-SIM creates a digital link between your device and carrier account information.
