Galaxy M33 5G is the successor to the M32 5G (launched in September 2021) and will bring many important updates to M32 5G. The kick-off event is planned for February 2022.

Based on the leaked photos and videos, the design is similar to the Samsung M32 5G. at the front, it has an infinity notch with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%. It will be 9.3 mm thick and weigh 207 grams. You will feel heavy when using this device. There is a quad-camera with an LED flash on the back. The fingerprint sensor is side-mounted on the power button of the device.

Galaxy M33 5G offers a 6.5inches FHD+ IPS LCD screen coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. The outdoor visibility will be ok with 500nits maximum brightness.

The M33 5G will have a 20% higher battery capacity (6,000 MAh) than the M32 5G (5,000 MAh). There will be a typical 15W Samsung charger with a USB TypeC port in addition.

In terms of camera, Samsung M33 5G offers a 64 MP camera that has 33% more pixels than the M32′ 48 MP camera. The other sensor includes 8 MP (wide angle), 5 MP (macro), and a 2 MP depth camera. Moreover, there is a 13MP AI selfie camera on the front.

Price & Launch date

The device will come with two variants: 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The expected price of the base variant is around 18K. Samsung has not panned any launch event for the phone till now. The expected launch may be in the 1st week of February 2022.

Conclusion

Galaxy M33 5G will be a decent phone with a 17-18K budget. But, you may go with other choices too. There is some disadvantage of the device too.

• IPS screen: Samsung offers an AMOLED screen for just 13k. But here you have provided an old IPS display on your M33 5G.
• UFS 2.1 storage – All Company has already provided the latest UFS 2.2 for the price of 13K. Samsung stayed with the old-generation UFS 2.1, which is a negative point.
• No 3.5mm Jack : I don’t know why companies are removing the most popular 3.5mm jack from their latest phone, causing buyers to buy a more expensive type connector. Another negative point is that you cannot charge your device while the headphones are connected.
