Galaxy S8 Series Tablets: Specs revealed, featuring latest Gen1

The South Korean Tech company ‘Samsung‘ is going to launch its most premium S22 Series this year. Along Side with the premium smartphone, Samsung will also launch the successor to its ‘S’ tablets too. All the specification for its upcoming Galaxy S8 Series has been come out. There will be three tables in this series: Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus & Tab S8 Ultra. So, let’s see its confirmed specs.

Galaxy S8 Series: Design & Build

Of course, this tablet will be one of the most premium looking tablets on the Earth.

• The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offers a notch on the front side for the camera with very thin Bezels. There’s a dual-camera module on the back with Samsung branding. This is very slim about 5.5mm with a Wight of 728g.
• The Tab S8 & S8+ also offers the same design at the back. While, on the front, you will find bigger bezels. While there’s  567g weight of S8+ with a 5.7mm slim body. The Native S8 seems to be thicker about 6.3mm with 507gram of weight.

On the other hand, the vanilla Tab S8 has a 120Hz TFT LCD with an 11inch WQXVGA display while the other two has a 120Hz WQXVGA+ super AMOLED panel with 12.7inch size ( on S8+) & 14.6inch (on S8 Ultra) display size.

Processor & Camera

The Galaxy Tab S8 series is powered by the latest SnapDragon Gen1 flagship Processor. SnapDragon Gen1 comprises the latest LPDDR5 RAM & UFS3.1 Storage under the hood. The SD Gen1 is based on 4nm architecture and paired with Adreno 730 for top-level performance. This is the same processor you get in many flagships like iQoo 9Pro or Xiaomi 12/12Pro.

Eventually, the camera module is also the same on these tabs. all tabs of this series have a 13MP f/2.0 sensor with a 6MP f/2.2 Ultra-wide camera sensor on the back.

While on the front, the Galaxy Tab S8 & S8+ comes with a single 12MP f/2.4 camera. The S8 Ultra have another 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor present too on the front. You will also get webcam functions for all the devices.

Battery & Audio

You will have different battery sizes in this Series.

• The Vanilla Tab S8 comes with the smallest battery of this series around 8000MAh.
• The Tab S8+ comes with a 10,090Mah(typ) battery.
• While The Ultra variant has the largest 11,200MAh battery under the hood.

However, we have not much information about the charging. Moreover, all the devices are expected to get Samsung 45W fast charging technology.

For Audio, Galaxy Tab S8 Series features Quad Speakers setup as you get in Moto G70. These speakers get Dolby Atmos for better sound quality. Additionally, you will get integrated mics on these tablets too.

Ports & Connections

These tablets will have many built-in ports like USB3.2 Type-C port, S- Pen slot, Micro SD slot & keyboard port. Yes, You will get the support of the Samsung S-pen with these tablets together with Handwriting recognition & Air Gesture support. S-pen is exclusive to plus & ultra variants only.

You will get WiFi 6/6E, Bluetooth 5.2, ANT+, 5G & a fingerprint scanner alongside in Galaxy S8 series. Additionally, there’s  Wireless DEX support aligned up with Data Security by Knox. All the devices have been protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Galaxy S8 Series: UI & Variants

The Galaxy S8 series comes with the latest Android 12 based ONE UI 4.1. This will be a separate edition for tablets with many additional features.

Galaxy S8 series will start with 8GB RAM and there will be two storage options 128GB / 256GB. The ultra variant will include an additional 16GB RAM variant with 512GB storage. You can use a MicroSD slot to extend up to 1TB storage.

As we get no info about colours & price. We can expect 3 or more colours variants of its predecessor.

The price may start from 45K for Tab S8 vanilla, 65K for Tab S8+ & around 85K for the big brother Tab S8 Ultra edition.
