Xiaomi’s new smartphone Mi 12 5G will soon launch in China. Its key specifications have been revealed. It is also going to launch in India too.
So, we are going to look into the details that we got about the Mi 12 5G.
Design
The device is expected to come in three colors- Purple, Black and Green. So, it is 7.8 mm thick and has a weight of 180 grams.
Display
It has pretty decent display specifications. It features a 6.28″ E4 AMOLED display with 1080×2400 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
The display is quite bright because of a 1500 nits panel. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 with HDR10+, 1B colors and 419 ppi density display. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display protection and Dolby Vision.
Processor
Mi 12 5G features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which is very powerful. The antutu score of SD8 GEN 1 is 1000000+
Camera
It features a triple camera setup like many other smartphones. The back camera setup is a 50MP primary lens (IMX766), 13MP 123° Ultra-wide lens and a 32MP Telephoto lens (3X optical) with a 32MP front camera. As a result, it can take sharp photos.
Battery
Firstly, the device has a massive 4500 mAh battery. Secondly, it has 67W fast wired charging and 30W fast wireless charging with 10W reverse charging. Mi 12 5G charging options and battery are decent.
Storage and Memory options
It will come in three variants which are 8+128GB, 8+256GB and 12GB+256GB. It has UFS 3.1 storage with LPDDR5 RAM.
Other features
The device comes with Android 12 with MIUI 13. It has Dual Stereo speakers with Harman Kardon.
Launch and Price
Mi 12 5G will launch in China on 28 December 2021. It is expected to launch in India in January 2022. The pricing of the smartphone is expected to be around Rs. 50,000.
