It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ 165Hz 10-bit Quad Curved OLED Display with 2400 x 1080 Pixel Resolution, Adaptive Refresh Rate up to 120Hz, 1.07 billion Colors, and 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut.
This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC with Adreno 740 GPU. It has a 3002.39mm² VC heat dissipation area and 24,868²mm Heat Dissipation Area.
It has a 60MP (OV60C) Front Camera and a 50MP (OV50A, OIS) Main + 50MP (S5KJN1) Ultra-wide-angle + 12MP (IMX663, 2x Optical) Telephoto Lens in the Rear Camera.
The Front Camera can record up to 1080p at 60fps and the Rear Camera can record up to 4K at 60fps.

It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and it has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 Storage.
The Moto X40 is packed with a 4600mAh Battery which supports 125W Fast Wired and 15W Fast Wireless Charging. It can share power wirelessly up to 15W.

The device has an 8GB+128GB variant which costs CNY 3399 approximately INR 40,460; the 8GB+256GB variant which costs CNY 3699 approximately INR 44,020; 12GB+256GB variant which costs CNY 3999 approximately INR 47,590; and it has 12GB+512GB variant which cost CNY 4299 approximately INR 51,160.

This smartphone is available in Crystal Black and Tourmaline Blue Color Options.

Verdict

In comparison to its predecessor, the Moto X40 offers amazing specs and features. A 10-bit FHD+ 165Hz Quad Curved OLED display is used for the first time on a sma
rtphone from Moto. This device has a starting price of around Rs. 40K, making it the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Gen2 smartphone on the market.
It will be known as Motorola Edge 40 Pro when it launches in India in Q1 2023. It is expected to be priced between Rs. 50-55K.
