Nokia G21 will have a February launch in the Indian Market

HMD Global‘s Nokia smartphone division will soon launch Nokia G21 in India in the month of February. So, lets discuss the details that we got about this smartphone.

Design and Color

The details on the phone’s color variants are currently not sufficient. Nokia G21 is 8.9 mm thick with a weight of 195 grams. It will also come with a Splash-Proof design.

Display

The device will come with 6.5″, 1600×720 resolution, IPS LCD display and comes with 89% Screen to Body ratio. It will come with 20:9 aspect ratio.

Camera

The phone features a triple camera setup like many other smartphones. It features a 50 MP+ 2 MP+ 2 MP back camera setup with a 8 MP front camera.

Processor

Nokia G21 is expected to come with a UNISOC SoC.

Storage

Nokia G21 is expected to come in 32GB 3GB, 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM variants with 2+1 card slot.

Battery and Charging

The device will feature a 5050 mAh battery with 10W Fast charging with USB C. The battery of the device is decent but charging options are mediocre.

Other features

The device will feature Side mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 11. The device will also come with 3.5 mm jack.

Price and Launch

Nokia G21 is expected to have a starting price of around Rs. 12,000. The phone is expected to launch in February, 2022.

Conclusion

The specifications Nokia G21 appear mediocre. The display of this phone is only HD+ which is not acceptable at this price range. The battery of this phone is decent but only 10W charging is also not acceptable at this price range. HMD Global really needs to launch price appropriate smartphones in order to survive in the Indian smartphone market.
