Although it was not more than two months ago, Oppo has launched its Reno 7 Series in India. Now, we start getting leaks for the next iteration of the Series. Oppo Reno 8 will be one of the first devices to get paired with Snapdragon 7- series next iteration i.e. Snapdragon 7 Gen1.
Although, we get information from a popular tipster on Weibo. Digital Chat Station revealed that the Reno 8 will carry the PGAM10 which was Earlier confirmed to feature Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Chip. Moreover, this series could get some similar specs to the Reno 7 Series likewise in Camera & Display.

Oppo Reno 8: Rumored Specs
The upcoming Oppo Reno 8 could be figured out with a 6.55inch Amoled Panel. This will get the support of a 120Hz refresh rate with a 91% screen body ratio. Moreover, it will have a side punch-hole for selfies. Meanwhile, the back panel will be glass with a metal finish.
Similarly, the camera setup could be a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with 8MP Ultrawide & 2MP macro. While the front camera could be 32MP IMX 709 RGBW sensor used in Reno 7 Pro. You may get the 5000 Mah large battery cell with 65W or 80W charging support.
Eventually, you will get Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.3, NFC, GPS & More options. For security, you will get an In-display Fingerprint scanner & Face unlock feature. Meanwhile, there are Gorilla Glass 5 & IP 53 ratings for dust-water protection.
The device boots up the Android 12 out of the box, which is coupled with Color OS 12. For RAM & Storage, it has LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.1 storage. The Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip will feature the 5nm process with Cortex X2 cores. So, the performance would be great.
OPPO Reno 8: Price & Launch date
Since the Reno 7 price in India starts from 29K for the 8GB/128GB variant. The Oppo Reno 8 could also get the 30K price while launching in India. It is not confirmed yet, we have to wait for the launch event for getting the accurate price. Similarly, the Chinese model will start from around 25K while the Indian model will receive a price hike up to 5000 rupees.
