Realme GT Neo 3 vs Poco F4 5G
Realme has launched its Realme GT Neo 3 yesterday in China Market. This device offers very great specs and has a price of 24K India price. While at a similar price, We may also get Poco F4 5G in India next month. The Poco F4 is a rebrand of Redmi K40S which was also launched in China last week.
Design & Build
- Realme GT Neo 3 offers a plastic back panel having a matrix camera system. Meanwhile, the phone weighs around 188G, having a thickness of 8.4mm.
- Poco F4 5G also have a Plastic panel having a square cutout with a triangular camera inside. Moreover, this phone weighs 195G but have only 7.7mm thickness.
So, we have chosen Redmi K40S /Poco F4 in this section.
Display
- Although, the GT Neo 3 has a 6.7inch Full HD+ 10bit Amoled panel. It is a punch-hole display having a 1000Hz touch response & 120Hz refresh rate. There is also HDR10+ certification & Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
- Poco F4 5G also offers a 6.67 E4 OLED panel. While it is an 8bit panel and comes with a 360Hz touch sample & 120Hz refresh rate. Eventually, this also supports HDR 10+ contents & Dolby Vision and have Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Although the GT Neo 3 has 1billion colour differentiation with an independent display chip while poco F4 has 16millions. But We can’t observe that in a smartphone while the K40S support Dolby Vision & has an E4 panel for better colours & Optimization.
Battery & Charging
- The Realme GT Neo 3 5G has a 5000Mah battery cell. Moreover, it has 80W superVOOC charging support with a charger available in the box.
- Redmi K40S / Poco F4 has a 4500Mah battery only and 67W charging support
So, we considered GT Neo 3 5G seems far better in the battery & charging segment.
Camera
- The GT Neo 3 offers a triple camera setup on the back. It has a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor. Moreover, the sensor has OIS and F/1.9 aperture. It has paired with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor. Similarly, the front camera housing has a 16MP IMX471 sensor.
- On the other hand, Redmi K40S/ Poco F4 5G offers a 48MP IMX582 sensor. Meanwhile, it has also an 8MP Ultra wide & 2MP macro sensor. There is a 20MP selfie sensor inside the front punch hole.
So, we get that the GT Neo 3 offers slightly better photography and give the 4K60FPS option too.
Processor
- GT Neo 3 offers the latest Dimensity 8100 chipset based on 5nm architecture. This chip offers Cortex A78 2.85GHz cores for performance. Moreover, you will get GT Mode and Vapour cooling chamber too.
- While the Poco F4 5G specs the SD 870 5G chipset. While it is a 7nm chipset and has Cortex A77 cores at 3.2GHz. this phone also features Vapour cooling technology.
So, Realme GT Neo 3 5G offers the latest 5nm chip & better gen cores. Although, both phones have UFS 3.1 storage & LPDDR5 RAM.
UI & Others
Both phones have the latest Android 12 based UI. While, you will get NFC, WiFi 6, Bluetooth V5.2( V5.3 in GT Neo 3), GPS in these smartphones. Moreover, the Realme offers an In-display sensor but Redmi has a side-mounted fingerprint.
