Poco F4 Lite
The F-Series from Poco are the company’s flagship killer alignment and launches with great specs. We have already seen the Poco F1 & Poco F3 GT with many special gaming optimization & launches beyond the 25K rupees segment. So, he arrives as the successor for Poco F3 GT. But this time, POCO may bring many devices in the F4 series. For the time, let’s hook up with confirmed specs of POCO F4 Lite.
Display & Build
This phone will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40S launched in China. So, it will have the same design as Redmi K40S 5G. It will have the same Plastic back & frames. It is very slim i.e. 7.7mm and have 195G weight. The company has also given splash protection with a triangular camera cutout.
On the front, Poco F4 Lite packs a 6.67inch punch hole panel with a 90% screen body ratio. It is an E4 120Hz Full HD+ Amoled panel. It also packs an HDR10+ & Dolby Vision certification. For protection, there’s a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front.
Battery & Camera
Although, the company packs a 4500Mah battery in the Poco F4 Lite 5G. The phone also has 67W fast charging support with the charger in the Box. You can expect around 45mins to completely charge the cell.
Talking about the camera setup, the device sports a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. It hooks up the OIS for better stability for photos & videos. Additionally, you get the 8MP Ultra wide & 2MP macro inside the triple cam setup. On the front, it has a 20MP selfie inside the punch hole. You get up to 4K video recording capability & many more features.
Processor & others
Although, Poco F4 Lite 5G is packed with the flagship level SD 870 5G chipset. It will get additionally UFS 3.1 storage & LPDDR5 RAM for ultimate performance. Similarly, the company does provide vacuum heat dissipation for thermal efficiency. This is a 7nm based chipset with Kryo 585 cores at 3.2GHz.
The phone hoists the latest MIUI 13 based on Android 12 in China. we expect the same for India with up to three years of software upgrades.
Eventually, the phone comes with NFC, Wifi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, IR Blaster, more. but, it won’t get any dedicated card slot but have Dolby Atmos followed Stereo Speakers. But it has a side-mounted fingerprint instead in-display sensor which is quite disappointing.
Poco F4 Lite 5G: Variants
The device is available in Black, Grey, Blue & Green colours when launched in China. We expect the same in India. While the phone launched in china with these variants:
- 6GB/128GB at ¥1,799 (₹21,478)
- 8GB/128GB at ¥1,999 (₹23,866)
- 8GB/256GB at ¥2,199 (₹26,253)
- 12GB/256GB at ¥2,399(₹28,641)
Although, the price comes out are very aggressive but this device may come with a ₹25k price tag in India. At this price also, the phone is very killer. While the Poco F4 Lite specs are very much awaited for its range eventually, no device currently provides the combo of SD 870 5G with E4 120Hz Amoled panel.
