Realme is going to launch the successor to the Realme 8 Series this year. The Series will include a smartphone named Realme 9Pro+. This will be the top variant to the series. We can expect this device to launch at Rs19,999 in India. Let’s see its expected Specs & launch date. Realme 9Pro+: Display & Build
This time, Realme has done cost-cutting in building up this phone. Even the pro + variant will get a plastic back with plastic Bezels. You will get a real me branding symmetrically with the camera module. The camera module looks similar to Realme GT2PRO. There’s a 92% screen body ratio with a centre punch-hole display.
Realme 9Pro+ will have a 6.43″ FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the brightness goes high up to 1000nits with a 180Hz touch sample rate. Moreover, there’s Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the camera module on the back
Processor, RAM & Storage
This device comprises with SD 695 5G chipset with a 6nm architecture. This is the same chipset we get on Moto G71 launched this week. This processor offers 13 true 5G band support with up to 2.5Gbps download speed. Moreover, you will get 2x Cortex A78(2.2GHz) & 6x Cortex A55(1.7GHz) for performance. Overall, The Antutu score rises to 4lakhs on Version 9.
With the SD695 5G processor, the device gets paired with UFS2.2 storage with LPDDR4X RAM (2133MHz) at the moment. Realme UI also offers up to 5GB virtual RAM support on the top model while the 6GB variant gets 3GB virtual RAM. You will get NFC, NaViC & mmWave support too along with the chipset.
Camera, Battery & Charging
Realme 9Pro+ will stand out with a 5000Mah massive battery with 65W superDART charging technology. The company claim that this 65W charging can fill your battery in under 36mins. Although, you will get 10W reverse charging too from the Type-C port.
For the camera, The device comes with a triple rear camera setup with 1a a 6MP AI selfie camera. Furthermore, There’s a 108MP customised Sony sensor with 8MP ultra-wide & a 2MP macro sensor on the back. You will also dual flash with 4K video recording support.
Realme 9Pro+: Color & Variants
This very device will come with two interesting colour options: Aurora Green & Sunrise Blue.
Eventually, there are two variants of the device starting with 6GB/128GB and going up to 8GB/128GB. You can expect the price of around 20k for the base while the upper model is priced around 22K.
Additional Features
There’s an In-display fingerprint & AI face unlock for security purposes. While the device gets WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band GPS & NaviC support too. You can also expect dual speakers on the Realme 9Pro+ together with Dolby Atmos.
Launch & Conclusion
Realme can launch this device in the first week of February in China. The Global & India launch may happen after 15days of the China launch.
As there are many devices ready to lunch at that price segment. So we can’t be Sure for one. Let’s wait till its launch then we will compare it with another device like the upcoming Redmi Note 11 Series or Moto G71 and pick up an option for you.
