With the teaser of Xiaomi 11T Pro, there are also some rumors for the new phone in the Note series: Redmi Note 11S. This device will be priced around 15-16k in India. So, let’s see about its expected specs, launch date below on the post.

Redmi Note 11S: Display& Design & Build
Now, there are no confirmed specs. But it is rumored that it will feature the same as of Redmi Note 11series launched earlier in China. It will have a glass back with 8.5mm thickness. moreover, the device weighs around 183gram.
For protection, there will be Gorilla Glass 5 given on both sides. Although, there’s no info on the color while the rumors tease that it could have similar color models as of Xiaomi 11i series from MI.
While there is a 108MP rear camera, Redmi Note 11S has done cost-cutting in the Display section. The rumors say Note 11S may have a 6.67inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, there’s a 91% screen body ratio with a 240Hz touch sample rate. The display is bright about 600nits providing you the ease for the outdoors.
Redmi Note 11S: Processor, RAM & storage
According to leaks, the note 11s will feature MediaTek’s latest G- series processor: Helio G96. Eventually, this processor has focused on gaming and have 12nm process technology. Furthermore, you can say it is similar to SD720G from Qualcomm. The Antutu scores up to 342k tested on the V9 version.
The company says that it will have UFS 2.2 storage with LPDDR4X RAM support into the device

While the camera on this device will be amazing featuring the massive 108MP camera in your budget. Eventually, there is an 8MP wide-angle & 2mp macro sensor too on the back. For the Selfie, there’s a 13MP AI selfie camera on the front.
Audio, UI & extra features
As always, MI has given out stereo speakers on this device. It is expected to have Dolby Atmos support Also. moreover, Redmi Note 11S can be launched with MIUI 12.5Enhanced based on Android 11.
The other features include the Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, face lock, IR blaster, etc under the hood.
Variants, Pricing & Conclusion
Redmi Note 11S might be available in three variants: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. According to leaks, the device has a base price of ₹15-16k with around ₹20k for the extreme variant.
The device is overall very nice with a 108MP camera in the 15k price range. However, there’s a cost-cutting done to processor and display.
