OnePlus 10R vs Realme GT 2
OnePlus has finally launched its OnePlus 10R in its 10 Series after the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G. This device is priced at ₹38,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant. You will get very handy features like 80W fast charging, Dimensity 8100 Max chip and more features in this device.
On the other hand, we have to go with the Realme GT 2 5G in the segment which is also priced at ₹38,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant. So it’s quite interesting to know which phone provides better value for money and carries a better price. Here’s a key comparison between these two devices.
Display & Build
- OnePlus 10R carries a 6.7inch Full HD+ 120Hz fluid AMOLED panel. It is a 10-bit panel having HDR10+ contents with a tiny punch hole with up to 94% screen body ratio. It uses Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a plastic panel on the backside. The device measures 8.2mm with 186G thickness.
- Realme GT 2 has a 6.62inch 120Hz AMOLED panel with a 91% screen body ratio. it has also Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a polymer back panel. It offers HDR10+ content with a side punch hole. It weighs 194G with 8.6mm thickness.
So, we find the OnePlus to offer a better display & Build quality.
Processor & Memory
- OnePlus feature the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset. It is a very powerful chip using 2.85GHz Cortex A78 cores with custom architecture. It is further coupled with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM offering virtual RAM support too with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
- GT 2 5G is alleged with Snapdragon 888 5G chip based on 5nm architecture. It is the direct competitor of the Dimensity 8100 chip you can see in this post and features a 2.84GHz Cortex X2 core. Meanwhile, it offers 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
So, we get OnePlus to use a better chip but Realme offers high RAM & Storage.

- The camera section feels entirely the same. Both phones have a triple camera setup. Considering from Sony 50MP IMX 766 sensor with 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor. Eventually, you will get the same 16MP camera on the front too
Battery & UI
- Realme has packed a 5000Mah battery with 65W fast charging. When it comes to the user interface, you will have the latest Android 12 on your device with Realme UI 3.0 on the top.
- Similar to Realme, the OnePlus 10R has also a 5000Mah battery but it gets the 80W charging support. Meanwhile, it also hosts the Android 12 out of the box with Oxygen OS 12.1.

- Both phones have the latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, NFC, GPS & more options. Eventually, these phones have a 3.5mm jack & Micro SD slot. Similarly, you will get dual Stereo speakers and dual mics for both devices.
