Realme 9 4G variant goes live yesterday. The company has launched the device on 8 April with a price of ₹17,999. Meanwhile, it gets the Samsung ISOCELL HM6 sensor & Snapdragon 680 chip for performance. On the other hand, Redmi Note 11S 4G is also available to the market with a similar price listing and has the 108MP camera & Helio G96 chip.

Price & Availability

Redmi Note 11S gets the three colours options: Blue, Black & White. Meanwhile, the device comes in three variants:

So about the Realme 9 4G, it has also three colour options: Gold, white and Black. But it has only two Ram Variants:

Display & Build

The latest launched Realme 9 4G model gets the Super Amoled panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, it gets the 6.4inch Full HD+ resolution with a 360Hz touch sample rate. Moreover, you will get the polycarbonate body heading up with 8mm thickness & 178G weight. There is about a 90.4% screen body ratio with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Redmi Note 11S also features the same 90Hz Amoled panel with a 6.43inch display. It has Full HD+ resolution with 180Hz touch sample rate & Punch hole selfie. There is a thickness of about 8.09mm with 179G weight that features up the polycarbonate body. It has a 90% screen body ratio with Gorilla Glass 3 Protection.

So, comparing the Display & Build section, we find that both phones are almost the same. While the Realme gets an advantage in touch sample rate & Gorilla Glass 5 Protection.

Camera

Realme 9 is one of the first devices to get the Samsung 108MP ISOCELL HM6 sensor. It is further bound with 8MP ultrawide & 2MP macro. While the HM6 sensor is capable to shoot up in very Dark conditions using Nonapixel Plus tech & offers 3x lossless zoom too. Meanwhile, the processor is not capable to do miracles. On the front, you will get the Sony IMX471 16MP Selfie camera.
Redmi, on the other hand, sports the Quad camera setup on the back. The primary camera is the Samsung 108MP ISOCELL HM2 sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide & 2MP depth/2MP macro sensor. Eventually, you will get the 16MP selfie on the front panel.

For the Camera comparison, we got the Realme 9 to do some amazing photography with the HM6 sensor. while the only issue is its processor which is not very much capable of continuous shooting.

Processor

Realme 9 4G gets the latest Snapdragon 680 4G chipset. It is a 6nm chipset with the support of UFS 2.2 storage. It uses the Cortex A73 cores at 2.4GHz for performance.
Redmi Note 11S 4G has the Mediatek Helio G96 chip. While it is a 12nm chip but gets the Cortex A76 cores at 2.05GHz and has the UFS 2.2 storage. It also gets liquid Cooling technology for better thermal efficiency. Helio G96 is more battery consuming than the Snapdragon 680 while it provides good performance & features.

So, we get the Realme 9 4G will provide better battery efficiency & Redmi will provide powerful performance.

Battery & UI

Both phones have a 5000Mah battery with 33W fast charging. Meanwhile, Redmi Note 11S especially has the Dual Split charging technology too.

Realme 9 4G gets the latest Android 12 Out of the box with Realme UI 3.0 on the top. Meanwhile, Redmi gets the Android 11 with MIUI 13 on the top. So on, these devices will provide two years of Android Upgrades & 3 years of security updates.

Other.

Realme comes with the In-display Fingerprint scanner with a Heart Rate sensor while Redmi offers the side fingerprint scanner. Both phones have a Dedicated card slot, 3.5mm jack, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5 & More features. While the Redmi Note 11S has an IR blaster, Dual stereo speakers & Z-axis vibration motor too.
