After Moto G31, the smartphone company Motorola has launched a budget 5G smartphone: Moto G71 recently. This is the first-ever smartphone to feature the latest SnapDragon 695 5G processor. This price is around 18k in India. We are comparing this phone to Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone launched last November.

Redmi Note 11T vs Moto G71: Display & Design

Both the devices comprise with plastic back panel, while the G71 offers a water repellent design with IP52 ratings. Eventually, the Redmi Note 11T 5G also comes with IP53 ratings with flat edges as on Xiaomi 11i.

Moto G71 seems to be lighter with 179g weight (8.5mm) compared to 11T having 195g weight & 8.75mm thickness.

Talking about the display, the Moto G71 has given out a 6.43″ OLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate while the Redmi Note 11T has a 6.67″ 90Hz IPS display. Both of the devices have FHD+ 89% screen body ratio. Moto offers around 700nits bright display but notes 11t has only 500nits brightness under the hood.

The devices comprised the same 5000Mah battery offering reversible charging too. The Redmi Note 11T has 33W Pro charging similar to 30W turbocharging present on Moto G71.

Although, Motorola offers the latest SD 695 5G processor from Qualcomm. this Processor features up to 13 true 5G bands & 2-gen latest Core( A78) compared to meditate 810 5G on the Redmi Note 11T.

Dimensity 810 offers a 2.4GHz 4x Cortex A76 core paired to a 1.8GHz 4x Cortex-A55. On the other hand, SD 695 has 2x 2.2GHz Cortex A78 and 6x 1.7Ghz Cortex-A55. Moreover, both chipsets are based on 6nm architecture with around 2.5Gbps download speed support.

Moto G71 comes with uMCP Storage with 50% more sequential speed compared to UFS 2.2 on the Redmi device. While there is the same LPDDR4X RAM support with 2133MHz clock speed.

So, in this comparison, G71 stands out as the winner here.

Camera & Audio & Ports

These devices sport the same cameras on the back 50MP + 8MP(wide-angle) and 16MP on the front edge. Additionally, Moto G71 has a 2MP camera present on the back.

Eventually, there are stereo speakers & IR blaster present on Redmi Note 11t, but Moto G71 has a single speaker set but has Dolby Atmos support additionally. Also, there’s a 3.5mm jack, card slot, USB 2.0 Type-C port, and dual mics, punch hole display present on both devices.

While there is a rear fingerprint scanner on the G71 & a side-mounted fingerprint on Redmi Note11T. It depends on you, which one is better. In this, section, we have taken Moto G71 to have a better camera while Remdi Note 11T for a better audio experience.

UI & Extra Features

Motorola offers Android 11 based stock UI while Redmi Note 11T comes out with A11 based MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version under the hood. Furthermore, there’s dual-band GPS, WiFi 5& Bluetooth V5 given out on both devices.

However, Redmi Note 11T lacks the NFC support present on G71.

However, Motorola offers only single variants with 6GB RAM & 128GB storage options at ₹18,999. although, you will get two color options: Arctic Blue and Neptune Green.

For the Redmi Note 11T, you will get three variant: 6GB with 64GB/128GB for 17K & 18K respectively & 8GB/128GB at 20k. Eventually, you will get three colors option too: Matte Black, Aquamarine Blue & Stardust White Black.

So, in This section Redmi Note 11t have more variants & Color options.

Note 11T vs Moto G71: Conclusion

If we compare the same variants of these devices, we can see that Note 11 is around ₹1000 cheap than the newly launched Moto G71. however, Moto has provided better cameras, display, NFC, Processor & storage compiled to G71 under the hood. You should always go with the moto device if you can spend some more although.
