On the 10th of August, 2022, Samsung launched the much-awaited Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4 along with some other goodies such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, 5 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro but meanwhile, we are getting some leaked specs and rumours of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. We speculate that it might come with good features and specifications along with an aggressive price point.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G – Design and colour
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G may follow more of a rounded design language; the edges may be smoothened out and will feel smooth to tough without sharp edges. It will have a glastic back (which is basically a plastic material with the feel of glass when touched ) and the frame will also be made out of plastic. It may come in three different colour variants, Classic Black and the other two a sort of funky colours which will suit the youth very well; both of them may come with a matte or frosted finish. It may weigh about 179 grams and the dimensions may be similar to the already launched A73 5G, they are as follows 159.6 mm (height) x 74.8 mm (width) x 8.1 mm (thickness). Overall it will be a very stylish and beautiful Smartphone which will feel solid to hold.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G – Display
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G may come with a 6.5-inch, 120Hz, SAMOLED+ display with 405 Pixels per Inch and a 20:9 aspect ratio, as a result, it will provide you with immersive viewing angles. It is a SAMOLED+ display which ensures you vibrant colours and as a result, consuming content will be a treat for your eyes. It will be an HDR 10 certified display with a brightness of about 800nits. It may have a screen-to-body ratio of about 90% and the display may have a punch hole camera embedded within it.

It may have the latest Qualcomm snapdragon 7 gen 1 processor, which is an Octa-core processor based on 4nm architecture. It is backed by the Qualcomm® Adreno™ GPU. It will be able to handle your day-to-day tasks with ease and will be capable of handling medium to heavy gaming sessions with ease. It will not show any lag under heavy usage and while being very powerful it is also very power efficient, which will ensure good battery life.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G – Camera
It may have a quad rear camera setup with the main sensor of 64-megapixel (f/1.8, wide) as a result it can take high-quality images with ease, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens (f/2.2), an 8MP telephoto lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It may record up to 1080p at 30fps.
The front camera may get a 32-megapixel (f/2.0 wide) sensor, which can record up to 1080p at 30fps. It will have a very good low-light performance and can provide you with hassle-free video calls. It may have an electrictronic image stabilization feature.
The rear and front cameras will produce good colours and natural skin tone.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G may get a 5000mah Lithium Polymer battery pack as a result it will easily last you a full day, and along with that comes a 45W fast charger which may give you 100% charge within 45minutes. It has a very efficient processor as a result it can retain the juice for a day-long under moderate to heavy usage.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G may come equipped with a dual stereo speaker setup and will provide adequate loudness with an ample amount of sound clarity. It will miss the 3.5 mm headphone jack which may disappoint some music lovers.

It will be offered in two different variants-
- 6GB RAM paired with 128 GB of storage.
- 8GB RAM paired with 256 GB of storage.
The storage can be expanded to 512GB. The RAM will be of LPDDR4X type and the storage will be of UFS 2.2 type
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G – Security and Connectivity
As per security is concerned it will have an under-display fingerprint sensor which will be of optical type. It will be very fast in response and will provide adequate security to your device.
It will have 5G support will all the 5G bands, it may also have NFC support. It will include Bluetooth version 5.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e (2.4GHz/ 5GHz)
It will have a hybrid sim card slot which means you can only run either 2 nano sim cards or a sim card and an SD card.
It will also have the latest Android 13 out of the box. It will also get a definite OS update to Android 14 and occasional security updates.
Samsung Galaxy A54 5G – Launch and Price
It is still a speculated device so its availability and launch are uncertain but we believe that it might come into appearance very soon.
It may have a price tag of about 299 $ – 30000 INR.
