Sharp has finally launched its next iteration over the Aquos R6 which is the first to feature the massive 1″ sensor with a 240Hz refresh rate. This upgraded model also packs the same with slight improvements overall there.

Key Specifications of Sharp Aquos R7
The Sharp Aquos R7 packs the phone with a 6.6inch-pro IGZO OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. Eventually, it is one of few phones to feature 2000nits brightness on its 10bit panel. It supports Dolby Vision along with HDR 10+ content too. For protection, it has the Gorilla Glass VICTUS from both sides and can be considered to be water-dust proof.
Talking about cameras, it packs a 47MP f/1.9 1″ massive sensor on the back which is claimed to capture 1.8x more light than its last-gen. The other sensor includes a 1.9MP Portrait lens. The front screen features a 12.6MP selfie camera.
For performance, Aquos R7 is packed with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset based on 4nm architecture. It is further coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM & up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
For protection, it has an Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Eventually, it also includes the 3.5mm jack. The phone packs a 5000Mah battery while there’s no info on its charging capabilities. You will get all the basic features including NFC and it is based on Android 12 based Sharp UI.
Expected Price & Colors
The Sharp Aquos R7 is available in Black & Silver colours. Similarly, the phone isn’t available anywhere to buy commercially for now. We are expecting around a month or more to ab available in the native country Japan and catch the price around ₹50000 to ₹70000.
