Vivo S15 Series
A couple of days earlier, Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer VIVO announced its New Vivo S15 Series which will be launched in their native country China on 19 May. This series will contain two smartphones Vivo S15 & Vivo S15 Pro and along with these, VIVO will also debut its new TWS earbuds a name called Vivo TWS Air.
Since the company has already shared some of its key specs like 80W charging along with some camera samples earlier. We also found some info from the TENAA certification & many other tipsters that we will discuss below.
Vivo S15: Rumoured Specifications
The S15 series is not like its predecessor, which focused on amazing selfies. The upcoming Vivo S15 will sport a 6.62inch full HD+ OLED panel. While we have no info about its refresh rate but it’s most probably to have a 120hz option. For performance, it could get the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset which will pair the LPDDR4X RAM & UFS 3.1 storage.
The native variant would also get the triple rear camera setup with a primary 64MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture which will be further bound with 8MP Ultra-Wide & 2MP macro sensor. This phone is expected to feature a 16MP selfie camera and is very likely to pack a 4500Mah battery unit with 66w Fast charging.
Vivo S15 Pro: Expected Specifications
Apart from the Vivo S15, S15 Pro also sports the 6.56inch curved OLED Full HD+ display. But it additionally provides the 120Hz refresh rate with a punch hole. In the meantime time, it is hooked up with the Dimensity 8100 chipset for performance which is further coupled with LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.1 storage.
Vivo S15 Pro also gets the triple camera setup but it has the primary 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor which is alleged with another 8MP for wide-angle shots & 2MP for macro shots. Similarly, it also packs the 4500Mah battery unit but gets the 80W fast charging option.
Both phones will boot up the latest Android 12 based on Origin OS Ocean in China which will be changed to Funtouch OS in other regions. You may get an In-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 & More options.
Expected Price & Launch date
As per the poster revealed by the company, Vivo S15 Series are very likely to pair with Indigo Blue & Golden colour variations. And you will get up to 8GB of RAM with up to 256GB of Storage models for the Vivo S15. While Vivo S15 Pro may offer up to 512GB of storage & 12GB of RAM.
We haven’t any official news on the price of these phones. While Vivo S15 is very likely to catch a 24K price for the base in China while the S15 Pro model could be launched at 30,000 rupees. We will stay you updated and let’s wait for the Vivo S15 Series to launch on 19 May.
