OnePlus 10R vs Xiaomi 11T Pro 5G
OnePlus 10R is finally launched in India. It is the first OnePlus device to have the Dimensity 8100, Max. This device will go live on sale on 4 May with the price of ₹38,999 for its base variant. Although, you will get another device option in this price range too i.e. Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Now, this phone was launched in India in a month or two. It is also alleged with 120W charging Snapdragon 888 5G and a bunch of features. So, it has quite been interesting to choose any one of the phones to buy in the segment. Here’s a key comparison between these devices.
Display & Build
- OnePlus 10R carries a 6.7inch Full HD+ 120Hz fluid AMOLED panel. It is a 10-bit panel having HDR10+ contents with a tiny punch hole with up to 94% screen body ratio. It uses Gorilla Glass 5 protection with a plastic panel on the backside. The device measures 8.2mm with 186G thickness.
- Xiaomi 11T Pro also gets the 10bit AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This 6.67inch display has a tiny punch hole in the centre with a 92% Screen body ratio. Similar, it has aluminium frames & glass back with Gorilla Glass Victus & IP 53 ratings. Moreover, it weighs 204G with 8.8mm thickness. It additionally has HDR 10+ certification & Dolby Vision too.
So, we get that the Xiaomi offer a better display & Build quality.
Processor & Memory
- OnePlus feature the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset. It is a very powerful chip using 2.85GHz Cortex A78 cores with custom architecture. It is further coupled with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM offering virtual RAM support too with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage.
- 11T Pro 5G is alleged with Snapdragon 888 5G chip based on 5nm architecture. It is the direct competitor of the Dimensity 8100 chip you can see in this post and features a 2.84GHz Cortex X2 core. Meanwhile, it offers up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
So, we get OnePlus to use a slightly better Processor.
Camera
- OnePlus 10 has a triple camera setup. The main camera is the Sony 50MP IMX 766 sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide & 2MP macro sensor. Eventually, you will get the 16MP selfie on the front.
- Xiaomi, on the other hand also has a triple camera setup. But it has the 108MP Samsung sensor with an 8MP Ultra wide & 5MP macro sensor. On the front, it also features a 16MP selfie camera.
So, we find Xiaomi to have higher Megapixels but OnePlus has a better sensor.
Battery & UI
- Xiaomi has packed a 5000Mah battery with 120W fast charging. When it comes to the user interface, you will have the Android 11 on your device with MIUI 12.5E on the top.
- On the other hand, the OnePlus 10R has also a 5000Mah battery but it gets the 80W charging support. Meanwhile, it also hosts the Android 12 out of the box with Oxygen OS 12.1.
So, we considered 10R 5G for providing better updates while Xiaomi for its charging capabilities.
Ports & COMMS
- Both phones have the latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, NFC, GPS & more options. Eventually, these phones have a 3.5mm jack & Micro SD slot. Similarly, you will get dual Stereo speakers and dual mics for both devices.
- Oneplus offers the In-display fingerprint scanner while 11T pro has a side-mounted fingerprint for security. While Xiaomi additionally provides the IR blaster & barometer to 11T Pro.
Colours & Price
- OnePlus 10R is available in Sierra Black, and Forest Green colours. While it’s 8GB/128GB is priced at ₹38,999. The other variant has the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage which has a ₹42,999 price.
- Xiaomi the other hand provides three variants: 8GB/128GB at ₹36,999, 8GB/256GB at ₹38,999 and 12GB/256GB at ₹40,999. Meanwhile, it has many colour options too: Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White, Celestial Blue.
