Xiaomi 13 excited Specs and Price; You should know ahead of launch

Xiaomi 13 Series is Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship phone scheduled for launch in the Chinese marketplace. There are two models, the Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. These were supposed to be launched on 1st December’22, but were postponed due to the sudden passing of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Specifications

• The device is officially confirmed to feature, a 6.36-inch FHD+ 120Hz Samsung E6 Amoled Display with 2400*1080 Pixel Resolution, 360Hz Touch Sampling Rate, 1920Hz PWM Dimming, 1900-nits Peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Protection.
• The display is HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision Certified, Narrow Bezels (1.61mm (Side) 1.81mm Chin).
• The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC with Adreno 740 GPU.
• The smartphone has a 32MP (IMX709, RGBW) Front Facing Camera.
• In Rear Camera, it has a 54MP (IMX800, OIS) Main + 12MP Ultra-wide-angle Lens + 10MP (3.2x, OIS) Telephoto Lens. The Rear Camera is tuned by Leica.

• The smartphone has up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, which can be expanded up to 4GB via Virtual RAM option, and it has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
• The Xiaomi 13 5G is packed with 4500mAh battery which supports 67W Fast Wired or 50W Fast Wireless Charging. It also has a Surge G1 chip for Charging and Battery Management.
• The device comes on MIUI 14 which is based on Android 13 out of the box.
• To ensure security, the device is equipped with an In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and Face ID capability.
• For Audio, it has Dual Stereo Speaker with Dolby Atmos certified and tuned by Harman Kardon.

• Other Features -> It has X-Axis Linear Motor, IR Remote Control, Metal Middle Frame, and IP68 Certified.
• The Xiaomi 13 is 7.98mm thick and 189 grams in weight.

Price and Color Options

• 8GB+128GB = CNY 4299 ~ INR 49,850
• 8GB+256GB = CNY 4599 ~ INR 53,330
• 12GB+256GB = CNY 4899 ~ INR 56,800
• 12GB+512GB = CNY 5399 ~ INR 62,600

Color Options are Black, Green, Blue, and White. There is a Limited Color option that’s Hurricane Yellow and comes with 12GB+512GB storage.

Wind-Up & Launch timeline

Xiaomi has worked on this smartphone, and it appears to be a worthy successor. The Xiaomi 13 has improved in several areas, including its display, processor, camera, and most importantly, it is now IP68 certified. It seems like a good package, but it will be interesting to see at what price the brand launches this device. It has been estimated that the launch will take place between the 8th and 10th of December, 22.
