Vivo X90 Pro+ 5G has been launched in China along with the Vivo X90 the vanilla model, Vivo X90 Pro which is slightly different from the vanilla model, the Vivo TWS 3 Series, and the Vivo Pad in purple. This number of gadgets has been introduced by Vivo in China. Vivo X90 Pro+ is the first smartphone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC, a 2K 120Hz 10-bit E6 Curved Amoled Display, a Vivo V2 chip, and more specifications and features are shared below. - The smartphone features a 6.78-inch 2K 120Hz E6 Curved Amoled Display with 3200×1440 Pixel Resolution, LTPO 4.0 Tech, 517PPI Density, High Frequency PWM Dimming Support, 1800-nits Peak Brightness, and Schott Xensation Protection.
- It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC with Adreno 740 GPU, and for cooling it has 8900mm² VC Liquid Cooling System.
- In terms of Camera, the device is equipped with a 32MP (S5KGD2SP) Front facing camera.
At Rear it has 50MP (1-inch, IMX989, OIS, 1G+7P, f/1.75) Main + 48MP (IMX598) Ultra-wide-angle lens + 50MP (2x, IMX758, 1/2.51 inch, OIS) Telephoto/Portrait Lens + 64MP (5x, OV64B, OIS) Periscope Lens + dTOF laser focus. The Rear Camera has T* Zeiss coating and also has Zeiss Tuning. - Additionally, the smartphone is equipped with a Vivo V2 chip, which will assist in the camera and software department, as well as for other purposes.
- The device has 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, which can be expanded up to 8GB via Virtual RAM option.
The device has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 Storage. - The Vivo X90 Pro+ is packed with a 4700mAh dual cell battery which supports 80W Fast Wired or 50W Fast Wireless Charging.
- The Smartphone comes with OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 out of the box.
- For Security purpose, it has Ultra Large area of 3D Ultrasonic In-Display Fingerprint Scanner and a Face ID capability.
- The device is equipped with a Dual Stereo Speakers set-up with High-Res Audio Support, and it also has Independent Hi-Fi Chip for Audio.
- Other Features -> it is IP68 Water and Dust Rating, Infrared Remote control sensor, X-Axis linear Motor, and NFC.
- The device is 9.7mm thick and 221 grams in weight.
- For Connectivity options like 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C Port for Charging and Data Transfer.
Price and Color Options
A total of two variants are available at two different price points.
- 1st is 12GB+256GB which costs CNY 6499 approximately INR 74,370; and
- 2nd is 12GB+512GB which costs CNY 6999 approximately INR 80,100.
There are two color options available for the device, namely Red and Black.
Wind-Up
Vivo launched X90 Pro+ with an amazing camera and premium specs & features in the Chinese market. Despite the fact that the sale date has not yet been announced, the device appears to be promising. It is expected that this device will be launched in India in Q1 2023 at a price of Rs. 80,000, based on leaks and certifications.
