Motorola G31 vs IN Note 2
Earlier a month, Motorola had launched Motorola G31 for budget lovers. This device was the best one for the AMOLED display at that time. Yesterday, A Indian Company Micromax has launched the IN Note 2 as a successor to IN Note launch last year. So, let’s compare these phones & choose the best option for you.
Display & Build
If you look at both devices, you can feel the Micromax IN Note 2 will be premium with a glass finish at back. The design looks similar to Samsung S- Series. It weighs around 205G with 8.3mm thickness. On the other hand, the Motorola G31 has a water repellent design with 181G weight. It is 8.6mm thick with a curve frame.
On the front, these devices have a similar 6.4inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. Eventually, both device has a punch-hole display with an 89% screen body ratio. So in this comparison, both phones have similar options.
Camera & Battery
Seeing on the back, Motorola G31 offers a 50MP camera with 8MP wide & 2MP macro. Eventually, you will get a 13MP selfie shooter at the front. Compared to Motorola G31, the Micromax IN Note 2 offers a Quad cam setup 48MP main sensor further paired with 5MP wide & 2MP+ 2MP depth/macro sensor. It also offers a 16MP selfie at the moment.
Talking about the battery, both devices have an equal 5000MAh battery. On the other hand, Motorola doesn’t include any fast charge but Micromax did it well with its 30W charge.
Processor & Others
Micromax has introduced the Helio G95 chipset in the IN Note 2. While the Motorola G31 has an older Helio G85 chipset. Going too deep, the Helio G95 is very much powerful and uses a generation later Cortex- A76 cores. Both chipsets are based on 12nm architecture with a 2GHz core frequency. Eventually, you will get LPDDR4X RAM on both devices & UFS 2.1 in IN Note 2 while emmc5.1 on Motorola G31.
So on, you will get a single speaker, Card slot(dedicated on IN note 2) & 3.5mm jack. Both devices are powered by the Android 11 operating system with Stock UI. Moreover, you will get Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5, GPS on each phone.
So in the processor, we have seen that IN Note wons with a huge margin.
Price & Variant
The company Motorola has launched Motorola G31 in 4GB/64GB & 6GB/128GB variants. While the lower variant is priced at ₹12,999. The upper variant cost up to 14,999. Although, it is available in Blue & Grey colours.
While the Micromax is constituted with only 4GB/64GB which cost up to ₹12,490 on Flipkart. Eventually, it is also available in Black & Oak Color.
Conclusion: Motorola G31 vs IN Note 2
The Motorola G31 offers very good specs but it can’t compete with the IN Note 2. Micromax IN Note 2 is not only better in camera but also in Charging & Processor. so, if you are willing to buy a phone with a ₹13K budget. You should go with our Indian brand Micromax.
