The company OnePlus has launched its top-of-the-line smartphone: OnePlus 10 & 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10 Pro is currently the best smartphone you can find in its product. So, in this post, we will check out its specifications and compare it with other flagships with the same price segment. So let’s begin the comparison between the OnePlus 10Pro & Xiaomi 12 Pro launched recently by the Brand Mi. both devices have launched in China only, Global launch may happen in the next coming months.
OnePlus 10Pro vs Xiaomi 12Pro: Display
Both devices have a 120Hz QHD+ HDR10+ 10bit E5 AMOLED display with a punch-hole for the camera. While the OnePlus 10 Pro has LPTO2.0 with 1300nits peak brightness. The Xiaomi 12 pro’s display can go up to 1500nits peak with LPTO & Dolby Vision technology. Both displays are similar with a 6.7inch size protected by Gorilla Glass VICTUS additionally.
Moreover, the OnePlus 10 Pro offers World’s first 1Hz Always On display (AOD) & and also supports a 1000Hz(480Hz on Xiaomi 12Pro) touch sample rate. So, the OnePlus device wins the display comparison.
Color & Build

In this competition, OnePlus won with a slight margin. we get Volcanic Black & All things Blue color option for the OnePlus. on the other hand, Xiaomi offers four color options: Black, Green, Blue & Pink for this device.
Battery & Charging and UI
This comparison is quite interesting because OnePlus offers a bigger battery & Xiaomi offers faster charging. OnePlus 10 Pro sports a 5000MAh battery with 80W superVOOC Charging. On the other hand, Xiaomi offers a 120W hypersonic charge with 4600MAh Battery. Although, Both devices present 50W wireless charging & 10W reversible charging too.
So, we have taken out a tie for this section. eventually, both devices have their Custom UI based on Android 12 under the hood.
Camera & Audio
Both devices offer the same triple rear setup with a 32MP selfie Camera. However, OnePlus offers an IMX789 48MP Sony sensor with 50MP 150° Ultra-wide and an 8MP 67mm telescope camera with 3.3x optical zoom. Moreover, OnePlus tuned the color of the camera with Hasselblad Natural Color optimization 2.0 for better photography.
While Xiaomi 12Pro offers three 50MP cameras with IMX707 as the main sensor. Other sensors are 2X telephoto & 122° ultra-wide. Of course, you will get OIS, 8k video recording, dual-pixel PDAF, dual-tone flash on both devices. Additionally, OnePlus includes Omnidirectional PDAF & Laser AF too at the moment.
Here, we have taken a tie in both devices however if you need 150° Ultra wide then you should take the OnePlus 10Pro. Moreover, there are stereo speakers present on both devices with Dolby Atmos. Eventually, Xiaomi 12Pro speakers are tuned by Harman Kardon for a better audio experience.
Processor, RAM & Storage
Both devices come with the latest backseat Snapdragon Gen 1 processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. With this, both devices have a VC heat dissipation system. while Xiaomi 12Pro has around 2600mm•sq, OnePlus has a bigger 3162mmsq VC Soaking Plate.
So, we consider the OnePlus 10Pro to be more thermally efficient with its 34119mmsq heat dissipation area.
Other Features
Both devices have the latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, NFC together with an Optical In-display fingerprint scanner for security. Additionally, Xiaomi has a tri-band GPS with an Infrared sensor too. OnePlus support only dual-band GPS but have a custom X-axis linear motor with 47% increased vibration than Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Both of the device comes with Same variants: 8GB/128GB at ¥4,699 (₹55,100), and 8GB/256GB at ¥4,999 (₹58,600). While the 12/256GB variant comes with different pricing for both device: ¥5,299 (₹62,100) for OnePlus 10Pro while ¥5,399 (₹63,300) for the Xiaomi 12 Pro.

Since both devices are priced the same. So it’s a big question which one should we buy?
So, we should go with the OnePlus 10 Pro which offers a better camera, Battery, LPTO2.0, 3D ceramic camera module, Premium design, and much more.
