As you guys already know about Xiaomi 12 Series launch in china on 28th December 2021. Now, there is a strong rumor that the base model Xiaomi 12X is launching in India very soon. So, in this post, we will see the specifications and the expected price of Xiaomi 12X. It is the dropdown version of Xiaomi 12.
Xiaomi 12X: Display & Design
Xiaomi 12X has the same design as Xiaomi 12. It has a metal frame along with glass on the back. The device weighs 176g with 8.2mm thickness. With the curved edges, the device looks premium while using. The further dimension is152.7×69.9×8.2mm. There is an 89.2% screen-to-body ratio.
It provides a top-level display with an A+ rating provided from Display Mate. Moreover, there is a 6.28inch FHD+ E5 AMOLED display together with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate present on the device. It offers 1100nits peak brightness and has a support of HDR10+ with Dolby Vision. This is 20:9 based display with 419ppi.
Xiaomi 12X: Processor, RAM & Storage
However, Mi has done cost-cutting in terms of Processor. It is powered by a Snapdragon 870 5G processor instead of Gen1 in Xiaomi 12/12 Pro. On the positive side, it doesn’t let you down while playing high-end games or daily uses. However, it is based on the 7nm fabrication process which is a down point. There is also a 2600mm VC cooling for making the device thermal efficient.

Xiaomi 12X: Battery, Charging & Camera
It will be powered by a 4500Mah battery with 67W charging. It can fully charge the device in under 39mins as advertised. Mi introduced Power Delivery 3.0 altogether with a USB Type-C 3.1gen Port.
Xiaomi 12X comes with a triple rear camera setup under the hood. The main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX766 image sensor instead of IMX 707. The other sensor includes 13MP Ultra-wide and a 5MP telescope.
There is a tiny punch-hole in the center equipped with a 32MP AI selfie camera. The backside also includes dual-tone led flash.
Xiaomi 12X : UI & Other Specification
Xiaomi 12X will be powered by Android 12 based MIUI 13. Moreover, it has dual X-axis Linear motor& stereo speakers tuned by Harman/Kardon altogether with Dolby Atmos.
Furthermore, it supports NFC & Infrared remote control and Hi-res audio certification. For protection, It has dual side Gorilla Glass VICTUS additionally.
Price, Variants & launch
However, this phone will have two variants only: 8GB RAM with 128GB & 256GB storage option. The price may something around ₹37k of the base variant & 41k for the higher variant when launched in China. The phone offers three different colors (purple, blue &grey) options at the global launch.
