Today, Realme has launched its first smartphone in 9series. Realme 9i comes with the latest Snapdragon 680 chipset at ₹13,999. This device also offers 33W charging & stereo speakers at this price. So, we are comparing this device with the recently launched Moto G31 at ₹12,999. This device is 1000 rupees cheaper and offers an Amoled display at the moment. So, let’s begin the comparison of Realme 9i vs MotoG31.

Realme 9i vs Moto G31: Display & Build

The latest Realme 9i offers a plastic back with front glass protected by the Dragon trail. Although, the device looks pretty similar to Realme GT2 Pro launched in China recently. On the other hand, Motorola comprises with its Water Repellent designed & a plastic back panel with moto logo. The overall weight is around 181g for Moto G31 while realme 9i has 190g weight. Additionally, 9i feels slimmer(8.6mm) than Moto G31(8.8mm).

When talking about the display, Realme uses 6.6inch IPS (90% screen body ratio) panel with a 90Hz refresh rate on the Realme 9i. While the MotoG31 offers A 6.4inch AMOLED panel with an 88% screen body ratio.

So in the display comparison, Moto G31 seems to be a winner. Or you can also go with Realme 9i if you need a higher refresh rate.

Battery & Charging

Both devices have the Same 5000MAh battery. While the Moto G31 has only 10W charging support, you will get 33W charging on the Realme 9i. Also, the company claims that 33W can fill up the battery in only 70mins.

So, Realme 9i has won this comparison with its fast-charge capability.

The processor plays a vital role in the smartphone. The Realme 9i has the latest Snapdragon 680 chipset from Qualcomm with 6nm architecture. Additionally, it has 4x 2.4GHz Cortex A73 & 4x Cortex A53 1.9GHz. while there is no improvement in performance even compared with the two-year-old processor. But you will get great battery savings.

Moto G31 sports a gaming chipset Helio G95 from Mediatek. However, this chip is based on 12nm architecture but offers two generations later Cortex A75 At 2.05GHz. So, in processor competition, Realme 9i offers battery savings while MotoG31 offers better performance. Eventually, moto has emmc5.1 storage while Realme 9i has UFS2.1 storage.

Despite the camera section, Both devices have a similar 50MP triple camera at back. Although, Motorola offers an 8MP wide-angle instead of a 2MP depth on Realme 9i. additionally, Realme 9i has a 16MP front given that of 13MP in Motorola G31.

Audio & Additional features

The Moto G31 & Realme 9i are available with the same variants. There are two variants offered by these devices 4GB/64GB & 6GB/128GB. Moto seems to be ₹1000 rupees cheaper than Realme 9i: ₹12,999 for 4GB & &14,999 for 6GB.

Realme 9i vs Moto G31: Conclusion

As you guys know Realme 9i is slightly overpriced. Additionally, it has nothing special than a 6nm processor & 33W charging. On the other hand, Motorola G31 has an AMOLED display as it’s a speciality. So, in my opinion, you should go with Moto G31 for better performance & display and camera.

While you can also go with Realme 9i if you are ready to pay 1000rupees extra just for a 6nm processor &33W charging.
