Motorola is soon going to launch Motorola G71 5G in India. So, we should compare this smartphone with other similar specification phones like iQOO Z3.
So, this is a comprehensive comparison between the two phones.
Design and Color
Motorola G71 5G comes in three color variants : Neptune Green, Arctic Blue, Iron Black. It is 8.5 mm thick with a weight of 179 grams. Dimensions : 161.2 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm.
While, iQOO Z3 comes in three color variants : Ace Black, Cyber Blue, Silver. It is 8.5 mm thick with a weight of 185.5 grams. Dimensions : 164 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm.
Color of a phone is a subjective matter but Motorola G71 is slightly lighter.
Display
Motorola G71 5G comes with 6.4″, 1080×2400 resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, AMOLED display and comes with 83% Screen to Body ratio. It has 20:9 aspect ratio.
However, iQOO Z3 comes with 6.58″, 1080×2408 resolution, 120 Hz, IPS LCD display with HDR10 and comes with 84.5% Screen to Body ratio. It has 20:9 aspect ratio.
iQOO Z3 is slightly better than Motorola G71 in display department because of bigger display and higher refresh rate. However, some people may prefer AMOLED display over IPS LCD display.
Processor
Motorola G71 comes with Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) which is an octa core processor with a clockrate of upto 2.2 GHz and Adreno 619 GPU.
While, iQOO Z3 comes with Qualcomm SDM768 Snapdragon 768G 5G (7 nm) which is an octa core processor with a clockrate of upto 2.8 GHz and Adreno 620 GPU.
Snapdragon 768G 5G is more powerful than Snapdragon 695 5G. So, in this department iQOO Z3 is better.

Motorola G71’s camera setup : 50MP+8MP+2MP back camera setup with 16MP front camera.
However, iQOO Z3’s camera setup : 64MP+8MP+2MP back camera setup with 16MP front camera.
iQOO Z3’s camera setup is slightly better.
Storage
Moto G71 comes in 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM variants. While, iQOO Z3 comes in 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 12GB RAM variants.
iQOO Z3 provides more storage options.
Battery and Charging
Moto G71 features a massive 5000 mAh battery with 30W/33W fast charging, 50% in 30 min (advertised) and USB-C.
While, iQOO Z3 features a 4400 mAh battery with 55W fast charging and USB-C.
In this department iQOO Z3 is better.
Other features
Moto G71 features rear mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 11. While, iQOO Z3 features side mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 11, FunTouch 11.1.
Price
Motorola G71’s starting price is around Rs. 18,999 while iQOO Z3’s starting price is around Rs. 19,990.
Winner and Conclusion
Both the phones are quite good in terms of specifications. However, Motorola G71 is better than iQOO Z3 in various departments like camera, price while iQOO Z3 is better in terms of display and processor. So, the price of these phones can also be an deciding factor to declare the winner.
