The Chinese smartphone company Realme seems to be working on a new upper-midrange smartphone. Although, the leaks justified that this device could be the successor to Realme GT Neo 2 launched last year. However, the Realme GT Neo 3 will sport a Mediatek processor instead of Qualcomm. Eventually, this phone will launch in China next month. So, we can also expect this device to launch in the last of March globally.
GT Neo 3: Display & Processor
The upcoming GT Neo 3 will not come with any massive upgrade in display compared to GT Neo 2. It will feature a 6.62 inch FHD+E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. At the moment, you can also expect a glass back this time with Gorilla Glass 6(or VICTUS) protection.
Eventually, it will be packed with Mediatek 8000 Processor. Instead of using the latest Cortex A710/A510 cores, this Processor has 4x Cortex-A78 2.75GHz & 4x Cortex-A55 2.0GHz. Also, it uses the old two core clusters compared with the latest tri-cluster core structure. While it will feature the latest Mali G510 MC6 GPU. This GPU is very powerful as twice compared previous generations & 22% more battery efficient.
This Device is paired up with the latest UFS 3.1 storage while it has LPDDR4X RAM instead of the LPDDR5. The base variant of this device will have 8GB RAM & 128GB storage while the top variant has 12GB RAM & 256GB storage.
GT Neo 3: Camera & Battery
Although, there is no change in battery & Charging than that of its previous model. It will also have a 5000MAh battery hooked up with 65W super dart charging. This charging claims to full the battery in just 36mins.
Alternatively, there are many changes in the camera. While Realme GT Neo 3 comes with a similar triple rear camera, you will get a Sony IMX766 50MP sensor this time. This sensor has paired up with Samsung JN1 50MP Ultra wide and a 2MP macro camera. You will also get OIS with this device. Eventually, there’s no info for the front camera, but you can expect a 16MP selfie at this device.
The additional features you will get on this device may be Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth V5.2, NFC, dual-band GPS. While there are stereo speakers on the device with Dolby Atmos & Hi-res certification. Moreover, you will get an In-display fingerprint with a centre punch hole on this device.
Pricing & Conclusion
At present, the leaks Realme GT Neo 3 may be available in three cool colours Black, Crypt Myrtle & Morning Star colour option. Furthermore, Realme may announce this device to be launched under the 30k segment. So, you can expect the price of around 29k rupees for the base 8GB/128GB model. While the upper models would be priced at 32K & 35k for the top 12GB variant.
As this device is not launched yet we can’t say much now. We are waiting for Realme GT Neo 3 to launch in India. After that, We will do all the comparisons based on Price & features. And we will give you the best option to buy at that price segment.
