Realme 8i vs IN Note 2
The Indian smartphone company Micromax has recently launched Micromax IN Note 2 for Indian markets. This phone offers good specs at a price of ₹12,490. On the other side, we get Realme 8i as another option to buy at that price segment. So, let’s see who provides better specs. Which phone should we buy at that price? let’s start our comparison
Display & Build
Micromax has used a glass finish panel on the back similar to Samsung S- Series design. It weighs 205G with 8.3mm thickness. On the other hand, Realme 8i has a glossy plastic panel. This device weighs around 192G with 8.5mm thickness.
Alternatively, the Realme offers a 120Hz 6.6inch IPS FHD+ display. While the IN Note 2 stands with its 60Hz 6.43inch AMOLED display. Although both devices have an 89% screen body ratio with a punch-hole cutout for the Camera.
In this comparison, the Realme 8i has provided a smoother display & IN note 2 has given a sharper & punchier display with more battery savings So it depends on you to buy a high refresh rate or better colour.
Processor & Camera
So on, Realme8i features the latest Helio G96 processor that of Helio G95 on IN Note 2. You can expect slightly better performance on Realme8i. Although both chipset LPDDR4X RAM & UFS 2.1 storage with 12nm architecture.
Coming to the Camera, the Realme8i has a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP camera at the back. While the Micromax has a 48MP + 5MP + 2MP + 2MP camera at the back. At the front, you will get a 16MP selfie on both devices. So, we have concluded Realme 8i for the processor while IN Note2 for the Camera.
Battery & Others
In terms of Battery, both devices of 5000MAh massive battery. At the Moment, Realme support only 18W charging compared to 30W charging at IN Note 2.
Eventually, both device offers a single speaker, dedicated card slot, side fingerprint scanner & 3.5mm jack. Moreover, you will get Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth V5, GPS on these phones.
Color & Variants
Both devices have two colour options: Black & Purple for Realme 8i and Black & Oak in IN Note 2. However, Micromax launches the IN Note2 in only 4GB/64GB variant for ₹12,490. On the other side, you can buy Realme 8i in 4GB/64GB at ₹13,999 & 6GB/128GB at ₹15,999.

As have seen in the above comparison, the Micromax IN Note 2 seems to be better with less price range. Additionally, it doesn’t worth paying ₹1,499 just for only a 120Hz panel & Helio G96. You should go with the Micromax this time without any problem.
